Quartz Mountain Resources Ltd. is a mineral exploration and development company based in Vancouver, Canada. Through an option to purchase agreement, Quartz can acquire 100% interest in the Buck gold-silver property located in central British Columbia (BC).

The Buck Property consists of 135 mineral claims located near the Town of Houston in central BC. The property is readily accessible by secondary roads that traverse the area.

There is considerable potential for the discovery of bulk tonnage gold/silver and/or gold vein deposits on the property. Previous exploration work has shown the presence of an extensive gold-silver mineralized system, outlined by coincident geophysical and gold-in-soil geochemical anomalies, which are open to expansion. In addition, limited and widely-spaced drilling intersected zones of gold/silver mineralization shows similarities to other BC Upper Cretaceous mineral occurrences such as New Gold's Blackwater gold deposit (Indicated Resources of 164 million tonnes at an average grade of 1.03 g/t gold and Inferred Resources of 69 million tonnes at an average grade of 0.84 g/t gold at 0.4 g/t cut-off; February 2012), New Gold's Capoose silver-gold deposit (Indicated resources of 3.2 million tonnes grading 26.5 g/t silver and 0.38 g/t gold and Inferred resources of 37.3 million tonnes grading 24.6 g/t silver and 0.37 g/t gold at 0.4 g/t AuEq cut-off; February 2012) and Amarc's Newton gold prospect.
